The 20th anniversary West End company of Wicked has been announced, with performances beginning at the Apollo Victoria Theatre on Tuesday 19 May 2026.
The new company will lead celebrations across the anniversary weekend on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September 2026, with priority booking now open for registered audiences.
Emma Kingston continues in the role of Elphaba, following her recent win for Best Takeover Performance at the 2026 WhatsonStage Awards. She stars opposite Zizi Strallen, who remains with the production as Glinda.
Joining the company is Jordan Litz, who arrives from the Broadway production to make his West End debut as Fiyero. Litz has performed the role more than 1,700 times across Broadway and the US national tour, making him the longest running Fiyero in the musical’s history.
Olivier Award nominee Claire Machin joins the cast as Madame Morrible. Machin is known for her work in The Girls and Les Misérables.
Yara Fabricante completes the new principal casting, making her West End debut as Nessarose.
Continuing members of the principal company include Michael Matus as The Wizard, David McKechnie as Doctor Dillamond and Ross Carpenter as Boq. Laura Emmitt remains with the production as Alternate Elphaba, alongside Lydia Gerrard as Standby for Glinda.
The current 2025 to 2026 company will play its final performance on Sunday 17 May 2026.
With music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and a book by Winnie Holzman, Wicked is based on Gregory Maguire’s novel and tells the untold story of the Witches of Oz. The musical reveals the choices and events that shape the destinies of two unlikely friends long before Dorothy arrives in Oz.
Wicked continues to play at the Apollo Victoria Theatre, with performances Tuesday to Saturday at 7.30pm and Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday at 2.30pm, alongside a number of scheduled extra performances throughout 2026.
