Wicked is celebrating Pride Month with the launch of a special limited edition Pride collection, created in collaboration with three LGBTQIA+ artists.
The award-winning musical has partnered with Chris Lloyd, JEMPG, and DOM&INK to produce a series of exclusive prints, with all proceeds being donated to charities chosen by each artist.
The prints will be available to purchase at London’s Apollo Victoria Theatre and online, alongside a Pride patch, with profits from the patch going to LGBTQIA+ support line Switchboard.
London-based illustrator Chris Lloyd has selected Not A Phase, a trans-led charity dedicated to improving the lives of trans+ adults through awareness and community initiatives.
Graphic designer Jem Solley, known as JEMPG, is supporting akt, which works to ensure LGBTQ+ young people aged 16 to 25 facing homelessness have access to safe housing and support.
Illustrator DOM&INK has chosen UK Black Pride, an organisation that celebrates and advocates for LGBTQI+ Black and people of colour communities through arts, education and cultural events.
Alongside the Pride initiative, Wicked continues its landmark 20th anniversary year in the West End, with performances currently running at the Apollo Victoria Theatre.
The production, which tells the untold story of the Witches of Oz, remains one of the most successful musicals of all time, having been seen by millions worldwide.
