Golden Toad Theatre has announced the upcoming release of the audio musical and cast album of Errol’s Garden, a vibrant and heartwarming musical for children aged 3 to 8 and their grown-ups.

Adapted from the award-winning book by Gillian Hibbs, Errol’s Garden will be available across all major audio platforms from 3 July 2025—perfectly timed for the school summer holidays.

West End favourites Nicholas McLean (The Addams Family, Wicked, Avenue Q) and Grace Mouat (13 Going on 30 – The Musical, Mean Girls, Six The Musical) lend their voices to Errol, Tia, and a host of other characters in this joyful and inspiring production.

Teaser trailers featuring Nicholas and Grace recording songs such as This Is How We Grow, Come On In, and Munch Munch Munch are available to watch at www.errolsgardenmusical.com.

“I wish I could have a garden of my own, but all I see out there is concrete and pavement and more concrete…” begins the story of Errol, a young boy with a passion for plants. Living in a small flat overflowing with greenery, Errol dreams of a real garden.

Together with his sister Tia, Errol discovers a neglected rooftop and sets out to transform it into a community garden. But first, they must rally their neighbours and overcome a few unexpected challenges.

The audio musical is written and composed by Caroline Wigmore and Jen Green, directed by Kate Golledge, with musical direction by Josh Sood. It is adapted by Golden Toad Theatre and produced by Small Wardour Ltd.

Dialogue was recorded at Wardour Studios, with music recorded and mixed at Auburn Jam Music. The project is supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.

Errol’s Garden will be available on all major audio platforms and podcast services. For more information, visit www.errolsgardenmusical.com.
