First look production images have been released from the world premiere of Foal at Finborough Theatre, marking Amar Chadha-Patel’s professional stage debut.

Written by Titas Halder, Associate Artistic Director of the Donmar Warehouse, the one-man play is directed by Annie Kershaw and runs at Finborough Theatre until 30 May 2026.

The newly released images offer an early glimpse of Chadha-Patel as A.K., ahead of the production’s formal press night on 8 May.

Foal is described as an urgent, lyrical revenge thriller set in the era of the Sony Walkman, exploring masculinity, compassion and retribution.

The play follows A.K., who returns to his home town when a dark secret resurfaces, forcing him to confront his past and the fractured version of himself he carries inside.
