The Donmar Warehouse has released first-look production images for the world premiere of Juniper Blood, a powerful new play by Mike Bartlett, directed by James Macdonald.

Running from 16 August to 4 October 2025, Juniper Blood explores the true cost of pursuing ideals in an imperfect world.

The play follows Lip and Ruth, who have left the city behind to start a new life on a farm. But their rural idyll is disrupted when Ruth’s stepdaughter and her provocative best friend arrive, bringing chaos and clashing visions of the future.

The cast features Terique Jarrett as Femi, Hattie Morahan as Ruth, Nadia Parkes as Milly, Jonathan Slinger as Tony, and Sam Troughton as Lip.

Production images showcase the atmospheric design by ULTZ, with lighting by Jo Joelson and sound by Helen Skiera, capturing the tension and intimacy of this rural drama.
