Trish Wadley Productions has unveiled the first look production images for the UK première of Neil LaBute’s How to Fight Loneliness at Park Theatre. Directed by Stratford East’s newly appointed Artistic Director, Lisa Spirling, the play stars Archie Backhouse (Brad), Justina Kehinde (Jodi), and Morgan Watkins (Tate).

How to Fight Loneliness reunites LaBute with producer Trish Wadley, following their previous collaboration on The Shape of Things at Park Theatre. The production also marks a reunion for LaBute and Spirling, who was his Associate Director for In a Forest Dark and Deep in the West End.

The creative team includes Set and Costume Designer Mona Camille, Lighting Designer Chuma Emembolu, and Sound Designer Roly Botha. The play explores the lives of Jodi and Brad, who appear to have it all but must confront a devastating crisis with the help of a mysterious acquaintance from Jodi’s past.

“No Hollywood end to this. No last-minute rescue. This… right here… with you… is the best chance I’ve got…” says LaBute.
