Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre has released the first production images for the UK premiere of the Tony Award-winning musical comedy Shucked, now playing until 14 June 2025.

With a book by Robert Horn and music and lyrics by Brandy Clark and Shane McAnally, Shucked is directed by Jack O’Brien and arrives in London following a celebrated Broadway run and US tour.

The cast includes Monique Ashe-Palmer as Storyteller 1, Ben Joyce as Beau, Sophie McShera as Maizy, and Georgina Onuorah as Lulu. They are joined by Keith Ramsay, Matthew Seadon-Young, Steven Webb, and a full ensemble and swing cast.

The creative team features Sarah O’Gleby (Choreographer), Scott Pask (Set Designer), Japhy Weideman (Lighting Designer), John Shivers (Sound Designer), and Katy Richardson (Musical Director), among others.

Shucked tells the story of Maizy and Beau, whose wedding plans are upended when the corn that protects their small town begins to die. As the community searches for answers, one brave soul must venture beyond the borders of Cob County.
