Full Cast Announced for Death Comes to Pemberley Theatrical World Premiere

The highly anticipated theatrical world premiere of Death Comes to Pemberley is set to debut at The Mill at Sonning before embarking on a UK tour. The production, adapted from P.D. James’s best-selling novel, promises a captivating blend of romance, intrigue, and mystery.

Death Comes to Pemberley will run at The Mill at Sonning from May 1 to June 28, followed by performances at various venues across the UK, including Windsor Theatre Royal, Cardiff New Theatre, Bath Theatre Royal, Guildford Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, Bromley Churchill Theatre, Wycombe Swan, Brighton Theatre Royal, and Richmond Theatre.

The cast features James Bye as Fitzwilliam Darcy, Todd Boyce as Selwyn Hardcastle, Jamie-Rose Duke as Elizabeth Darcy, Lin Blakley as Lady Catherine/Mrs Bidwell, Sean Rigby as Colonel Fitzwilliam, Sam Woodhams as George Wickham/Will Bidwell, Celia Cruwys-Finnigan as Georgina Darcy, Louise Faulkner, Paul Jerricho as Mr Bidwell and others, Mogali Masuku as Lydia Wickham/Louisa Bidwell, and David Osmond as Henry Alveston.

       

The creative team includes Duncan Abel and Rachel Wagstaff (adaptation), Joe Harmston (director), Sean Cavanagh (set design), Natalie Titchener (costume & hair design), Mike Robertson (lighting design), David Osmond (musical director), and Kate Plantin CDG (casting director).

Joe Harmston, the director, has an extensive career with over 100 productions worldwide, including collaborations with notable figures such as Harold Pinter and Trevor Nunn. His previous work includes the critically acclaimed The Lover and The Collection at the Donmar Warehouse.
