The full cast has been announced for I’m Every Woman – The Chaka Khan Musical, which opens at Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre from 22 July to 27 September 2026.
Alexandra Burke will star as Chaka Khan, joined by Jordan Frazier as Alternate Chaka and a company that includes Chrissie Bhima, Ashley Stroud, Charlotte St Croix, Miles Anthony Daley, Jelani Munroe and Sophie Earl.
Also appearing are Samuel Sarpong-Broni, Teddy Wills, Chris Breistein, Maryla Abraham, Daniela Morain and Grant Zavitkovsky, alongside a wider ensemble.
The musical premiered earlier this year with performances at Hackney Empire, Belgrade Theatre Coventry and Congress Theatre Eastbourne.
Chaka Khan said, “This musical is more than my story. It’s every woman’s story. It’s about finding your voice, owning your truth, and rising through everything life throws at you. I’m honored to see my journey brought to the stage with such heart, strength, and authenticity.”
Featuring a book by Nia T. Hill and direction by Racky Plews, the production charts the life of the multi-platinum global superstar and explores the woman behind the icon.
The story delves into her rise to fame, activism, personal struggles and resilience, offering a powerful portrait of one of the most influential voices in music.
The show also features some of Chaka Khan’s best-known songs, including I Feel For You, Tell Me Something Good, Ain’t Nobody, Sweet Thing, Higher Love and Through the Fire.
I’m Every Woman – The Chaka Khan Musical is produced by Adrian Grant Productions in association with Chaka Khan and ODX Studios.
