Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre has announced that Georgina Onuorah will join the cast of Brigadoon, sharing the role of Fiona MacLaren with Danielle Fiamanya.

This major London revival of Brigadoon marks the first time the musical has been staged in the capital in over 35 years.

With book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe, this new adaptation is by acclaimed Scottish playwright Rona Munro. The production is directed and choreographed by Drew McOnie.

The cast also includes Jasmine Jules Andrews, Elizabeth Armstrong, Edward Baruwa, Norman Bowman, Taylor Bradshaw, Chrissy Brooke, Tanisha-Mae Brown, Cavan Clarke, David Colvin, Adam Davidson, Louis Gaunt, Tim Hodges, Shoko Ito, Gilli Jones, Christian Knight, Anne Lacey, Robin Mackenzie, Owen McHugh, Nic Myers, Danny Nattrass, Jessie Odeleye, Eve Parsons, Bethany Tennick, Dale White, and Liam Wrate.

Drew McOnie said:
“I’m delighted that Georgina Onuorah is returning to Regent’s Park to join the company of Brigadoon alongside Danielle Fiamanya in the role of Fiona McLaren. I’m so excited to see how these two brilliant performers develop the job share of this role together. The rehearsal process for Brigadoon has been thrilling and I can’t wait for audiences to enjoy this gorgeous classic of musical theatre once again on a London stage.”

Set in the mystical Scottish Highlands, Brigadoon follows WW2 fighter pilots Tommy and Jeff as they stumble upon a village untouched by time. As they encounter sisters Fiona and Jean preparing for a wedding, love and mystery unfold in a place where not everything is as it seems.

The production features beloved songs including “Almost Like Being in Love,” “Waitin’ for My Dearie,” and “The Heather on the Hill.”

Brigadoon runs from 2 August to 20 September 2025, with Press Night on Monday 11 August at 7.45pm.
