Greenwich Theatre has unveiled the cast for its 2025 summer season, featuring a double bill of family favourites: The 3 Musketeers and The Elves and the Shoemaker.

Running from late July to late August, both productions will be performed by a versatile ensemble of six emerging talents, bringing fresh energy to these beloved tales.

The repertory cast includes Louise Cielecki, Jack Benjamin, Verity Bajoria, Finn Whelan, Michaela Murphy, and James Aldred. Each performer brings a wealth of experience from stages across the UK, including the West End, Chichester Festival Theatre, and previous Greenwich Theatre productions.

The 3 Musketeers, a musical adaptation of Alexandre Dumas’ classic, is reimagined in the French city of Carcassonne. Written by multi-award winner Anthony Spargo, the show promises a swashbuckling adventure filled with humour, heart, and high-energy musical numbers.

The production is directed by Greenwich Theatre’s Artistic Director James Haddrell, with Ella McKeown as Associate Director. Musical direction comes from Michaela Murphy, with arrangements by David Haller.

Audiences can expect a vibrant retelling of the iconic story, featuring d’Artagnan, Roquefort, and Cardinal Richelieu, brought to life by a company of actor-musicians.

In a creative twist, The Elves and the Shoemaker will see the cast split into two rotating teams of three, alternating performances. Written by Brad Tutt and directed by Ella McKeown, this enchanting musical follows a struggling shoemaker whose life is transformed by two magical visitors.

The show is packed with original songs, playful mischief, and a heartwarming message, making it perfect for younger audiences.

James Haddrell said, “The summer show here at Greenwich Theatre has become one of the mainstays of our annual programme, with last year’s Beauty and the Beast breaking all box office records. We are all thrilled to have grown in ambition this year, presenting not one but two new shows for families and children, and we’re looking forward to a busy season!”

These productions reflect Greenwich Theatre’s ongoing commitment to nurturing new talent and delivering high-quality, imaginative theatre for all ages.
