Hofesh Shechter Company has revealed details of its latest work, In the Brain, which will premiere in March 2026 before touring internationally and across the UK.

The production will open in London at the Southbank Centre’s Queen Elizabeth Hall from 22 to 25 July 2026, as part of the venue’s 75th anniversary celebrations. Press night is scheduled for Thursday 23 July at 7.30pm.

Choreographed and scored by Hofesh Shechter, In the Brain promises a visceral experience: part rave, part ritual, inviting audiences to surrender to rhythm and movement. Developed from Shechter’s earlier work CAVE, the piece transforms the theatre into a high-voltage celebration of music and dance.

Eight emerging dancers have been selected for Shechter II, the company’s professional development programme: Matilde Agostinone (Italy), Teige Bisnought (UK), Nagga Baldina (Italy), Skiye Nataliah (UK), Federica Fantuzi (Italy), Woojin Kwon (South Korea), Armand Lassus (France) and Ella Roberts (UK).

“Shechter II is about unleashing raw talent and energy,” said Hofesh Shechter. “In the Brain is a space to break free, to lose yourself, and to surrender to the rush of movement.”
