You’re starting in Cinderella at the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre, what can you tell us about this production?

It’s so much fun and the audience get to be a part of it. It’s really going to make people and kids smile and laugh. It’s also a production that reflects the world as we see it and a reminder that anyone can be a princess.

What was it about Vikki Stone’s adaptation that made you want to be part of this production?

This Cinderella isn’t a victim and has agency over her story. I’ve also never worked at the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre before, the production being here at a space that is full of so much community also makes me happy and to be a part of that over this Christmas.

What are you looking forward to about working on a show as that celebrates London in this way?

I love the way this production engages with kids of different ages. Showing young people a story that showcases Cinderella as a young, female business owner from London is inspirational. There are so many jokes and lines about Hammersmith that will connect to the local audience.

You’re playing Cinderella, what do you love most about this version of the character?

She’s about her business! She could be out here sulking about her circumstance but instead she’s got a passion for her business and spends her time focused and enjoying that.

What do you think will be the biggest challenge in performing on panto this festive season?

Belting my socks off at 10am. Haha

What would you say to anyone thinking of booking to see Cinderella?

Don’t hesitate! It will be a decision that’s worth it! There’s a line or something that you will relate to!
