Producers Wessex Grove and Gavin Kalin Productions have announced the full cast for the West End revival of Teeth ’n’ Smiles, marking the 50th anniversary of David Hare’s explosive play.

Rebecca Lucy Taylor, known to music fans as Self Esteem, will play Maggie. Joining her are Michael Fox as Arthur and Phil Daniels as Sarrafian, with Bill Caple, Michael Abubakar, Samuel Jordan, Jojo Macari, Noah Weatherby, Joseph Evans, Aysha Kala, Christopher Patrick Nolan and Roman Asde also appearing. Gregor Milne, Damien James, Levi Heaton, Guy Amos and Daniel Crespin complete the company.

David Hare said: “It’s thrilling for me to watch Rebecca Lucy Taylor and a brilliant ensemble revive the play that shook the plaster off the ceiling of the Royal Court Theatre just fifty years ago.”

Directed by Daniel Raggett, Teeth ’n’ Smiles will run at the Duke of York’s Theatre from 13 March to 6 June 2026.

The play revisits the rise and fall of Maggie Frisby, once a ferocious voice of 60s counterculture and now burning out against the realities of adulthood. Fuelled by rage, music and survival instinct, Maggie fights through a night that threatens to tear her world apart all over again.
