The show will run for a limited season from Wednesday 18 August until Saturday 4 September, with a national press night on Monday 23 August 2021. Written by James Milton and Paul Morrissey, the production will be directed by Paul Morrissey.

The London run will then tour to Theatre Royal Winchester, MAST Mayflower Studios in Southampton and Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in Guildford.

You’re starring in When Darkness Falls at The Park Theatre, what can you tell us about the play?

It’s about being haunted by one’s past. There are ghosts, but are they psychological shadows? More questions than answers perhaps. Something to debate on the way home.

What was it about James Milton and Paul Morrissey’s writing that made you want to be part of When Darkness Falls?

I’ve never done a ghost story. It’s funny but disturbing. It is gripping to read and leads you one way and then another.

Final celebrity Sheriffs announced for Whodunnit [Unrehearsed] 4 at Park Theatre

You were last at Park Theatre playing Boris Johnson, how different is the John Blondel character?

Entirely different I would suggest. Is anyone anywhere quite like Boris?  Blondel is awkward, Boris is all show

What are you most looking forward to about rehearsing with co-star Alex Phelps?

Being able to work hard, bounce off one another, respond truthfully within the given circumstances.

Are there any challenges in bringing a spine-chilling ghost story to a small theatre?

The challenges are mostly down to the team who design the set, lighting, and special effects.

What would you say to anyone thinking of coming to see When Darkness Falls?

You’re in for a treat, prepared to be scared. I recommend not eating noisy crisps during the performance!
