Carl Man, who is currently starring as Fiyero at London’s Apollo Victoria Theatre, will make his Broadway debut on Tuesday 3 March 2026.

Jacob Young will assume the role of Fiyero in the West End from Tuesday 10 February 2026 until Sunday 17 May 2026.

The production also celebrated a major milestone last week, marking its 7,500th performance at the Apollo Victoria Theatre.

Carl Man first joined Wwicked as understudy Fiyero in the West End’s 15th Anniversary company before leading the UK and Ireland tour from 2023 to 2025.

He returned to the London company last spring, performing alongside Emma Kingston as Elphaba and Zizi Strallen as Glinda. His final West End performance will take place on Sunday 8 February 2026.

Jacob Young, who currently performs in the ensemble and covers Fiyero, now steps into the principal role. His previous credits include For Tonight at the Adelphi, Mamma Mia! at the Novello, Heathers at The Other Palace, Grease on tour, and The Pirate Queen at the London Coliseum.

From Tuesday 10 February 2026, the London company will feature Emma Kingston, Zizi Strallen, Jacob Young, Sarah Ingram, Michael Matus, Ross Carpenter, David McKechnie, Hannah Qureshi and Laura Emmitt, alongside a full supporting cast.

Further casting for the 2026–2027 company will be announced at a later date.

Based on the bestselling novel by Gregory Maguire, Wicked reveals the backstory of the Witches of Oz and explores how two unlikely university friends become Glinda the Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.

The musical features music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and book by Winnie Holzman, with direction by Joe Mantello and musical staging by Wayne Cilento.

Performances continue at the Apollo Victoria Theatre, with additional 2026 performances now on sale.
