Janette Manrara will join Nikita Kuzmin: Supernova presented by Burn the Floor when the high-energy dance show tours the UK this summer.
The professional dancer, actress and TV presenter will appear as a special guest from 23 to 27 June, bringing what the production promises will be her signature “sparkle, charisma, Latin heat, and sensational performance energy”.
The tour is led by Strictly Come Dancing favourite Nikita Kuzmin, who will share the stage with a company of dancers from across the globe in a new production created by choreographer Jason Gilkison.
Also joining the line-up is Karen Hauer, returning to the stage following news of her departure from Strictly, with performances spanning multiple dates in June and July, including a press night at Wimbledon’s New Theatre on 19 July.
Nadiya Bychkova will close the tour alongside Kuzmin, performing from 14 to 25 July in venues across the UK.
Created by BAFTA award-winning choreographer Jason Gilkison, Nikita Kuzmin: Supernova blends ballroom, Latin and contemporary dance styles in what is billed as a daring and dynamic new show.
Gilkison said, “I’m beyond excited to have three of my favourite dancing superstars joining Nikita on stage for what will be a very special reunion.”
The production reimagines traditional dances such as the Viennese Waltz and Foxtrot while embracing the intensity of the Tango and Paso Doble, alongside the vibrant rhythms of the Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba and Jive.
Producer Harley Medcalf added, “The opportunity to work with the exceptional talents of Nikita and Jason and create a ground-breaking new show is the producer’s dream.”
Presented by the world-renowned dance company Burn the Floor, the show will also feature live vocalists and a cast of multi-disciplined dancers in what promises to be a visually spectacular performance.
