Simon Gordon and Daniel Wood of Kinda Dusty Ltd. announce that West End star Lucie Jones will join the Queen by Candlelight gala concert at the London Palladium on Tuesday, 8 April 2025. Lucie will perform several iconic Queen hits, including “No One But You” and “Who Wants to Live Forever.”
The concert celebrates 50 years of “Bohemian Rhapsody” with a night packed with over 25 of Queen’s biggest hits. Lucie’s extensive theatre credits include roles in 13 Going on 30, Austenland, The Baker’s Wife, Pippin, Super You, Les Misérables, Wicked, Waitress, Treason, RENT, Legally Blonde, American Psycho, and Les Misérables.
Lucie has also appeared on TV in Midsomer Murders and The Sarah Jane Adventures, and was a finalist on The X Factor in 2009 and Eurovision in 2017. Over the past five years, she has performed sold-out solo concerts in the West End, Cadogan Hall, and Cardiff, and embarked on a UK solo tour with the Fulltone Orchestra.
Queen by Candlelight has played over 300 sold-out shows worldwide, including Carnegie Hall in New York, and venues in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK. It was the first live rock concert to play St Paul’s Cathedral. The concert features a cast of West End singers and an epic live rock band.
The cast includes Georgia Carling, Daniel Conway, Simon Gordon, Joel Harper Jackson, Nathan Lodge, Patrick O’Sullivan, Benjamin Purkiss, Sandra Regan, Rory Taylor, Sam Toland Leigh, and Becca Wickes. The concert includes iconic songs like “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “It’s a Kind of Magic,” “We Are The Champions,” and many more.
Queen by Candlelight is produced and directed by Simon Gordon and Daniel Wood of Kinda Dusty Ltd., with general management by Patrick O’Sullivan, and orchestrations and musical supervision by Sam Broadbere.
