The global smash-hit musical MAMMA MIA! has announced a brand-new cast for its West End production at London’s Novello Theatre, beginning Monday 6 October 2025.

The production also extends its booking period through to Saturday 26 September 2026, with tickets now on sale.

Joining the cast are Sara Poyzer as Donna, Nicky Swift as Rosie, Richard Standing as Sam, Daniel Crowder as Harry, Tamlyn Henderson as Bill, Ellie Kingdon as Sophie, George Maddison as Sky, Chloe Gentles as Ali, Foxy Valentine as Lisa, Joshua de La-Garde as Eddie and Benjamin Dawson as Pepper.

       

Kate Graham continues in the role of Tanya, while Emma Odell steps up from the ensemble to play Donna at certain performances.

Also continuing in the cast are Franky Attard, Matthew Barrow, Jack Bromage, Maddy Cameron, Dennis Cousins, Andrew Gallo, Lawrence Guntert, Genevieve Jameson, Tom Parsons and Maisie Waller.

First Look: New Cast Production Images Released for MAMMA MIA! at Novello Theatre

They will be joined by Ella Beaumont, Joseph Craig, Josh Crowther, George Hinson, Laura Jayne-Hardie, Deena Kapadia, Matthew Mori, Meghan Peploe-Williams, Emily Squibb and Ria Turner.

Sara Poyzer returns to MAMMA MIA! having played Donna Sheridan for over 12 years across the UK, internationally and in the West End. She last played the role at the Novello Theatre from 2017 to 2019.

Nicky Swift reprises her role as Rosie, having previously performed it on the UK and International Tours. She recently starred in Shirley Valentine, Footloose, and Les Misérables.

Richard Standing, real-life husband of Sara Poyzer, joins as Sam. He has played the role opposite Sara on tour and is known for his TV work including Coronation Street, Silent Witness and Holby City.

       

Daniel Crowder returns as Harry, a role he has played on tour. His recent credits include The Cockfields, Gypsy and The Graduate.

Tamlyn Henderson, originally from Australia, joins as Bill. His credits include The Salt Path, The Tattooist of Auschwitz, and Waitress.

Ellie Kingdon reprises her role as Sophie, having previously played the part on tour. She also starred in Grease at the Dominion Theatre.

George Maddison returns as Sky, with previous credits including Carousel and Heathers the Musical.

“MAMMA MIA! celebrated its 26th birthday on 6 April 2025 and remains the third longest-running musical in West End history.

Since its 1999 premiere, the show has been seen by over 70 million people worldwide and has been translated into 16 languages across more than 50 productions.

The musical recently returned to Broadway for a six-month run at the Winter Garden Theatre, where it originally opened in 2001.

With music and lyrics by Benny Andersson & Björn Ulvaeus, MAMMA MIA! is written by Catherine Johnson, directed by Phyllida Lloyd and choreographed by Anthony Van Laast.

The production is designed by Mark Thompson, with lighting by Howard Harrison, sound by Andrew Bruce & Bobby Aitken, and musical supervision by Martin Koch.
