Cameron Mackintosh has announced a new cast for the West End production of Les Misérables at the Sondheim Theatre, now in its record-breaking 41st year.
From 6 July, Ian McIntosh will take on the role of Jean Valjean, alongside Oliver Savile as Javert and Martha Kirby as Fantine.
The new company also includes Harry Hepple as Thénardier, Mina Anwar as Madame Thénardier, Jess Folley as Éponine, Thiago Phillip Felizardo as Marius, Joe Griffiths-Brown as Enjolras and Lucia McLaughlin as Cosette.
Will Callan will play Marius from 17 July to 11 August.
From 7 September, Stefanie Jones will join the cast, making her West End debut as Fantine following her acclaimed run in Mary Poppins.
The production continues its run at the Sondheim Theatre following its 40th anniversary celebrations last year and remains one of the most successful musicals of all time.
Seen by over 150 million people worldwide across 55 countries and 452 cities, Les Misérables has won more than 275 major awards, including Olivier Awards and Tony Awards.
Most recently, it was named Best West End Show at the 2026 WhatsOnStage Awards.
Written by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg and based on Victor Hugo’s novel, the musical continues to be a global phenomenon both on stage and in concert formats.
The current London production is directed by Laurence Connor and James Powell, with design by Matt Kinley.
Booking in the West End is now open through to March 2027.
