Brand new production images of the 13th West End cast of The Play That Goes Wrong at the Duchess Theatre have been released, with photography by Matt Crockett capturing the latest company in action.
The new cast began performances this week in Mischief’s Olivier and Tony Award-winning comedy, continuing the show’s record-breaking run in the West End.
Joining the Cornley Drama Society are Ruby Ablett as Annie, Matthew Spencer as Chris, Raphael Bushay as Robert, Luke Wilson as Jonathan, Lucinda Turner as Sandra, Alex Bird as Dennis, Joshua Lendon as Max and Kieron Michael as Trevor.
Winston the dog also returns to play Winston the dog, if he can be found, while understudies include Paige Round, Harry Al-Adwani, Tom Quinn, Will Bishop and Phoenix Edwards.
The producers have confirmed that booking has been extended until at least October 2027, with Cornley Drama Society confidently determined to keep performing until they get it completely right.
First opening at the Duchess Theatre in September 2014, The Play That Goes Wrong has grown from humble beginnings at The Old Red Lion Theatre, where it famously played to just four paying customers, to become a global comedy phenomenon.
The show’s ongoing success reflects the work of Mischief, a group of drama school friends who formed a company and built an acclaimed body of work over more than a decade.
