Sonia Friedman Productions, STUDIOCANAL and Eliza Lumley Productions on behalf of Universal Music UK have announced the performance schedule for Paddington The Musical, ahead of tickets going on sale next week.

The world premiere of the brand-new musical will take place at the Savoy Theatre, opening on 30 November 2025, with previews beginning from 1 November.

Adapted from Michael Bond’s beloved books and the award-winning STUDIOCANAL films, Paddington The Musical features music and lyrics by Tom Fletcher, a book by Jessica Swale, and direction by Luke Sheppard.

Priority booking opens on 13 May, with general public booking available from 15 May.

The full creative team and casting will be announced at a later date.

Michael Bond’s A Bear Called Paddington was first published in 1958 and was followed by 28 more books, with the final, Paddington at St. Paul’s, released posthumously in 2018. The series has sold over 35 million copies worldwide.

Paddington has been a staple of British culture, first appearing on television in 1976 and more recently in three critically acclaimed films by STUDIOCANAL: Paddington (2014), Paddington 2 (2017), and Paddington in Peru (2024).
