Ahead of opening night at Manchester Opera House, Runaway Entertainment has unveiled the first production images of the 2025 UK tour cast of 2:22 – A Ghost Story.

The supernatural thriller stars Kevin Clifton as Sam and Stacey Dooley as Jenny, with Grant Kilburn as Ben and Shvorne Marks as Lauren.

The tour kicks off in Manchester on 7 August 2025 and will run through November, before embarking on a second leg from January to June 2026. Casting for the second leg is yet to be announced.

2:22 – A Ghost Story has enjoyed phenomenal success since its debut in 2021, with seven West End seasons, twelve international productions, and over one million audience members across seventeen countries.

Following a successful UK tour in 2023/24, the production returns due to popular demand, revisiting cities and reaching new audiences.

Originally premiering at the Noël Coward Theatre with Lily Allen, Julia Chan, Hadley Fraser and Jake Wood, the play has since featured a rotating cast of notable performers including Stephanie Beatriz, Tom Felton, Laura Whitmore, Cheryl, Sophia Bush, and Donna Air.

The 2023 UK tour starred Joe Absolom, Charlene Boyd, Nathaniel Curtis and Louisa Lytton, while the 2024 leg featured Vera Chok, Jay McGuiness, George Rainsford and Fiona Wade. A summer run in Dublin saw Laura Whitmore return, joined by Shona McGarty, Jay McGuiness and Colin O’Donoghue.

Written by Danny Robins, creator of Uncanny, and directed by Gabriel Vega Weissman, 2:22 – A Ghost Story promises an adrenaline-filled night of suspense and mystery.

“THERE’S SOMETHING IN OUR HOUSE. I HEAR IT EVERY NIGHT, AT THE SAME TIME”

Jenny believes her new home is haunted, but her husband Sam disagrees. As tensions rise over dinner with friends Lauren and Ben, belief and scepticism clash. Something feels strange and frightening—and it’s getting closer. They’ll stay up until 2:22… and then they’ll know.

The creative team includes set design by Anna Fleischle, costume design by Cindy Lin, lighting design by Lucy Carter, sound by Ian Dickinson for Autograph Sound, and illusions by Chris Fisher. The production is produced by Tristan Baker and Charlie Parsons for Runaway Entertainment, Isobel David and Kater Gordon.
