Producers of the Olivier Award‑nominated global sensation The Choir of Man have released first look production images and confirmed full casting for the show’s first ever UK and Ireland tour, opening at New Wimbledon Theatre on 14 March 2026.
Direct from the West End, the smash‑hit pub‑set musical will take its on‑stage bar The Jungle to audiences nationwide, with tour dates running through to December 2026.
Alongside the tour, producers have launched The Jungle Choir Community Project, a nationwide initiative inviting local choirs in each touring city to take part in the show’s opening night finale. Participating choirs will receive discounted tickets, rehearsal materials and the chance to join the cast onstage.
The show features a nine‑strong cast combining harmonious vocals, foot‑stomping singalongs, tap dance and storytelling. The touring cast includes Gustav Melbardis as Maestro, Oluwalonimi (Nimi) Owoyemi as Poet, Levi Tyrell Johnson as Hard Man, Ben Mabberley as Joker, Rob Godfrey as Beast, Jack Skelton as Handyman, Joshua Lloyd as Barman, Sam Walter as Romantic and Aaron Pottenger as Bore. Swings include Sam Ebenezer, Jared Leathwood, Niall Woodson and Lewis Dragisic.
Featuring music from Queen, Luther Vandross, Sia, Paul Simon, Adele, Guns & Roses, Avicii and Katy Perry, the show delivers uplifting entertainment and celebrates community and friendship.
Creator and Director Nic Doodson said, “The Choir of Man has always been about individuality, generosity, humour and the joy of making music together, and this company embodies all of that. As we take the show around the UK and Ireland for the very first time, it felt vital to open the doors even wider and invite local choirs to quite literally raise their voices with us. Every city has its own musical heartbeat, and welcoming those voices into the show on opening night is a powerful reminder of why this piece exists: to celebrate community, connection and the extraordinary feeling of singing together.”
The Choir of Man has previously played three sold‑out seasons at Sydney Opera House, multiple sell‑out tours across the US and Europe and a 1,000‑performance West End run culminating in January 2026.
The production is created by Nic Doodson and Andrew Kay, with musical supervision by Jack Blume, choreography by Freddie Huddleston, monologues by Ben Norris, scenic design by Oli Townsend, lighting by Richard Dinnen, costume and scenic co‑design by Verity Sadler, sound design by Sten Severson and casting by Debbie O’Brien.
