This spring, children’s theatre company The Herd will tour their award winning interactive baby show Counting Sheeps to families across the South East.

Supported by the house southeast theatre network, the production will visit 20 small to mid scale venues and offer a gentle, immersive experience designed especially for babies and toddlers.

Winner of the Fantastic for Families Audience Impact and Innovation Award in 2025, Counting Sheeps invites audiences to snuggle into a pillow filled green field and follow two playful sheep as they explore bedtime’s joys and frustrations.

The show features live music, bubbles, glowing lights and soft textures to encourage sensory engagement. Parents can enjoy the humour woven through the familiar bedtime routine, while little ones delight in the tactile world around them.

Each performance is followed by a stay and play session, allowing families to explore the cushioned set at their own pace.
