The Phantom of the Opera Announces New Cast at His Majesty’s Theatre from July 2025

Cameron Mackintosh has announced exciting new casting for The Phantom of the Opera at His Majesty’s Theatre, with fresh faces joining the West End’s most iconic musical from Monday 28 July 2025.

Adam Rhys-Charles will take on the role of Raoul, while Bradyn Debysingh makes his West End debut as Ubaldo Piangi.

They join a stellar cast including Dean Chisnall as The Phantom, Lily Kerhoas as Christine Daaé, Joanna Ampil as Carlotta Giudicelli, Adam Linstead as Monsieur André, Martin Ball as Monsieur Firmin, Helen Hobson as Madame Giry and Millie Lyon as Meg Giry.

       

At certain performances, the role of Christine Daaé will be played by Colleen Rose Curran.

Also joining the company are Michael Baxter, Polly Clarke, Ashley Gilmour, Matt Hayden, Verity Marlow, Inguna Morozova, Skye November, Taylor Pardell and Rachel Spurrell.

New Production Photos Released as The Phantom of the Opera Extends Booking at His Majesty’s Theatre

The ensemble is completed by George Arvidson, Embla Bishop, David Burilin, Leonard Cook, Hywel Dowsell, Connor Ewing, Florence Fowler, James Gant, Emily George, Melanie Gowie, Molly Hall, Eilish Harmon-Beglan, Will Hawksworth, Nicholas Hepher, Mandy Kwan, Tim Morgan, Johnny Randall, Zoë Soleil Vallée, Jasmine Wallis and Victoria Ward.

Adam Rhys-Charles’s previous credits include From Here to Eternity at Charing Cross Theatre, Kiss Me, Kate and Anything Goes at Sheffield Crucible, and Follies at the National Theatre.

Bradyn Debysingh’s extensive opera background includes performances with Garsington Opera, Lyric Opera of Chicago, and Opera Birmingham. His theatre credits span 1776, As You Like It, and My Fair Lady.

The Phantom of the Opera is one of the most celebrated productions in musical theatre history, having played to over 160 million people in 58 territories and 205 cities.

       

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s unforgettable score features beloved songs such as “The Music of the Night,” “All I Ask of You,” and the iconic title track.

The production is directed by Seth Sklar-Heyn, with original direction by Harold Prince and musical staging by Gillian Lynne, adapted by Chrissie Cartwright.
