Trevor Ashley has announced a special one night only performance of A Million Years of Minnelli at the Garrick Theatre on Sunday 3 May, marking Liza Minnelli’s 80th birthday with a spectacular evening of song, stories and sequins.

Ashley will reprise his celebrated embodiment of Minnelli, delivering a night packed with musical numbers, glamorous chaos and heartfelt celebration. He will be backed by a live seven piece band, with special guest appearances from Jac Yarrow and Christina Bianco.

Tickets are on sale now at www.thegarricktheatre.co.uk.

Ashley said: “I’ve been paying tribute to the legend that is Liza for over fifteen years. Her inspiration to me as an artist is second to none, and this year she releases her autobiography and reflects on her incredible career. I thought it only fitting that we celebrate the songs, the sequins and the sensation as only I can! It will be a night to remember.”

The event promises iconic numbers, outrageous humour and powerhouse vocals, celebrating Minnelli’s legacy in a way only Ashley can. He previously performed his Liza tributes in Liza (on an E) at the Vaudeville Theatre, Liza’s Back! (is broken) at the Lyric Theatre and London Wonderground, and most recently in Typsy! at the Menier Chocolate Factory.
