The critically acclaimed new comedy, A Role to Die For, written by Jordan Waller and directed by Olivier Award winner Derek Bond, is set to transfer to London’s Marylebone Theatre this summer. Following its successful world premiere at Cirencester’s Barn Theatre earlier this year, the production will run from Saturday, 26 July to Saturday, 30 August 2025, with a national press performance on Thursday, 31 July.

“She’s not just casting a role. She’s gambling with a legacy.”

On the eve of Hollywood’s biggest casting reveal, Deborah is about to announce the next face of the world’s most legendary spy franchise. With the tux pressed and martinis chilled, everything seems perfect until scandalous rumors start flying. Deborah faces an impossible choice: stick to the sleek, suited formula the world knows or dare to let the next generation redefine a global icon.

“After a brilliant run at the Barn Theatre this year, I couldn’t be happier that the show is coming to the Marylebone Theatre with our genius director — Bond, Derek Bond,” said writer Jordan Waller.

Produced by DEM Productions in association with Barn Theatre, Simon Friend Entertainment, and Bob & Co, A Role to Die For promises to leave audiences shaken, stirred, and seriously entertained with its razor-sharp, laugh-out-loud comedy about identity, legacy, and the explosive battle between tradition and progress.
