The Black British Theatre Awards 2025 will return to the West End this autumn, with the prestigious ceremony set to take place on Sunday, 26 October at London’s iconic Piccadilly Theatre, currently home to Moulin Rouge! The Musical.

Now in its seventh year, the BBTAs continue to honour the transformative power of Black artistry in British theatre. Sponsored by ATG Entertainment and presented in partnership with Moulin Rouge! The Musical, Global Creatures, and Playful Productions, the event promises a night of unforgettable performances and heartfelt tributes.

Set in the heart of the West End, the ceremony will bring together industry leaders, visionary artists, and theatre lovers from across the UK. It’s more than an awards show—it’s a celebration of legacy and a movement for change.

“Co-Directors and Founders Omar F Okai FRSA and Solange Urdang OBE are proud to be working with lead sponsors ATG, Playful and Global Creatures in what will be a continuation of this pioneering event in British theatre,” they said.

Tickets go on sale Friday 22nd August, with audiences invited to secure their seats for a night that champions brilliance and celebrates legacy.
