Dugald Bruce-Lockhart trained at RADA and recently directed Wilko: Love, Death and Rock ‘n’ Roll at Southwark Playhouse. His debut novel The Lizard was described by The Guardian as “a read-at-a-sitting page-turner,” and his follow-up Second Skin was praised by The Times as “pleasingly brutal… break out the Retsina.”
Gerald Durrell, author of The Entrance, was a beloved British naturalist and writer, best known for My Family and Other Animals. He founded the Jersey Wildlife Preservation Trust and was awarded the OBE in 1982.
The Mill at Sonning, one of the UK’s only dinner theatres, continues its legacy as a family-run venue. It recently completed its first UK tour with Death Comes to Pemberley, expanding its reach beyond Berkshire.
