Casting has been revealed for the return of Alice in Wonderland, which arrives back in London this summer following its acclaimed UK premiere in 2025 and a recent season at Riverside Studios.
The production will run at Riverside Studios from 16 July to 2 August, before transferring to Soho Theatre Walthamstow from 5 to 16 August as part of the venue’s Summer Slam programme.
Ailsa Erskine will take on the role of Alice, with Kate Malyon starring as the Cheshire Cat.
They join returning cast members Clare Brice as White Rabbit, Honey Gabriel as Hatter, Sean Garratt as Caterpillar and Dormouse, Tom Giles as Hare, Skye Hallam as Tweedle Dee, Thomas Hewitt as Cover Hatter and Hare, Grace Hussey-Burd as Cover Tweedle Dee and Dum, Daniel Page as Queen of Hearts, and Sophie Wilkinson as Tweedle Dum.
Audiences are invited to “tumble down the rabbit hole this summer into the fantastical world of Wonderland, where up is down and nonsense reigns supreme,” as Alice encounters a host of curious characters on her journey.
The production is adapted by Penny Farrow and directed and designed by Nate Bertone, with co-direction and movement by Eva Sampson.
Design elements include lighting by Jack Weir, sound by Ella Wahlström, and puppetry designed by Chris Barlow and Nate Bertone, with puppetry direction by Katriona Brown.

The production has already built a strong following in London and internationally, playing to more than 100,000 people during its Australian tour.
