Following the success of The Chosen Haram, Sadiq Ali Company returns to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with Tell Me, a bold and visually striking new work blending dance, circus and storytelling.

Presented as part of the Made in Scotland Showcase, the production offers a contemporary and compassionate exploration of HIV, confronting stigma while centring resilience and connection. The narrative follows Grace, whose diagnosis transports her to 1980s Britain, where she encounters Michael, a man living through the height of the epidemic.

As their stories unfold across time, the piece uses choreography, aerial artistry and physical theatre to weave together past and present, illuminating both progress and ongoing challenges. Through this interplay, Tell Me reflects on how far society has come while questioning what still needs to change.

Created by Sadiq Ali and developed in collaboration with leading HIV charities, the production is grounded in lived experience and aims to foster empathy and understanding. Combining powerful visuals with emotional storytelling, it offers a moving and thought-provoking theatrical experience.

Tell Me runs at Summerhall (Dissection Room) from 7 – 31 August at 19:00. Tickets are on sale here http://www.summerhallarts.co.uk/
