Producers Eva Price and Michael Harrison have released the first production photos of Tom Allen in Titanique, the Olivier Award winning musical comedy now playing at London’s Criterion Theatre until 12 April 2026.
Allen joins the company as Ruth in the West End production, which has extended its booking period until 30 August 2026 due to exceptional demand. Tickets are available at london.titaniquemusical.com.
Sharing his excitement for the role, Tom Allen previously commented, “I saw this show when it first opened and I loved it so much I had to see it again almost immediately. The laughs and camp spoofing are addictive and exactly what the world needs right now. I am beyond honoured to be joining this extremely talented cast and can’t wait to come aboard for my life boat drill! …wait, they do have enough lifeboats right?”
Allen stars alongside Luke Bayer as Jack, Richard Carson as Cal, Ryan Carter as The Iceberg, Rose Galbraith as Rose, Astrid Harris as Céline Dion, Michael Vinsen as Victor Garber and Luigi, and Charlotte Wakefield as Molly Brown.
Also in the company are on-stage background vocalists Corrine Priest, Madison Swan and Damien Winchester, with Freddie King and Caitlin Tipping as offstage understudies and David Ouch as standby. Casting from 7 June will be announced soon.
Celebrated as “The West End’s Funniest Musical”, Titanique is a riotous parody featuring Céline Dion’s greatest hits performed by a live band. The show’s 100-minute whirlwind of comedy and music has earned rave reviews from outlets including The Times, Daily Mail, Sunday Express and Gay Times.
Originally premiering Off-Broadway in 2022, the musical went on to enjoy a long run at the Daryl Roth Theatre before announcing its forthcoming Broadway transfer. International productions have also been staged in Paris, Sydney, Montreal and Toronto.
Directed by Tye Blue, the production features choreography by Ellenore Scott, arrangements by Nicholas James Connell, scenic design by Gabriel Hainer Evansohn and Grace Laubacher, costume design by Alejo Vietti, lighting design by Paige Seber and sound design by Lawrence Schober. Casting is by Pearson Casting CDG.
