Francesca Moody Productions (FMP) has announced its first full season of work at The Other Palace, bringing three acclaimed productions to the London venue from October 2026 to January 2027.
The season marks a new chapter for the Olivier Award-winning, Tony-nominated company behind Fleabag and Baby Reindeer, with all three productions having originated at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe before achieving wider success.
The programme will include Tim Crouch’s celebrated theatrical experiment An Oak Tree (7 October to 15 November 2026), Garry Starr: Classic Penguins (22 October 2026 to 3 January 2027), and Feeling Afraid As If Something Terrible Is Going To Happen starring Steven Webb (19 November 2026 to 10 January 2027).
More than 4,000 tickets across the season will be available for £20.
Reflecting the company’s commitment to developing innovative theatre-makers, the season showcases productions that have earned critical acclaim in the UK and internationally.
An Oak Tree returns to London with Tim Crouch performing alongside a different guest actor at every performance, each stepping on stage without having seen or rehearsed the play.
Created by Damien Warren-Smith, Garry Starr: Classic Penguins follows the award-winning comic performer as he attempts to save literature by performing every Penguin Classic novel ever written, mostly naked and wearing flippers.
Meanwhile, Marcelo Dos Santos’ dark comedy Feeling Afraid As If Something Terrible Is Going To Happen returns following sold-out runs and an international tour. The production stars Steven Webb and explores anxiety, intimacy and self-sabotage through the story of a comedian convinced disaster is just around the corner.
Written by Marcelo Dos Santos (Backstairs Billy), directed by Matthew Xia (The Harder They Come, Tambo & Bones) and starring acclaimed stage and screen actor Steven Webb (The History Boys, The Book of Mormon, Shucked)/
Francesca Moody said: “This is an incredible opportunity to bring three extraordinary shows to London this autumn and celebrate the breadth of brilliant new work that has begun its life on smaller stages at the Fringe. All three shows push the boundaries of great storytelling, united by a playful theatricality and led by three brilliant and singular performers. Through this season, FMP continues its commitment to bold new work. ‘Fleabag’ and ‘Baby Reindeer’ have proven that daring solo shows can transcend the festival environment and captivate the world. We are in the business of building modern classics and the opportunity to do that by sharing these shows with a wider audience is truly thrilling.”
The season coincides with FMP’s three-week Shedinburgh residency at the Young Vic, running from 19 September to 10 October, and further underlines the company’s ongoing commitment to supporting festival work beyond Edinburgh.
