Performer and broadcaster Henry Patterson will launch his new monthly musical talk show House Seats at Crazy Coqs on Sunday 15 March 2026. The series promises a fresh and irreverent blend of theatre, culture and candid conversation.

Known for his jazz‑infused reinterpretations of musical theatre, Patterson now steps into his first original talk show format. The inaugural guest is West End favourite and Olivier Award nominee Ian McIntosh, marking a reunion between the pair, who have previously worked together as their careers developed in tandem.

During the evening, McIntosh will reflect on his journey through major productions including Les Misérables at the Sondheim Theatre and Jesus Christ Superstar on its UK tour. He will share insights into his creative process, accompanied by musician Leigh Stanford Thompson on piano.

House Seats combines intimate interviews with live performance, audience interaction and Patterson’s trademark wit. Each edition opens with a musical set from Patterson, followed by an in‑depth interview and a special duet with the guest artist. The show positions itself as a cross between the spontaneity of The Graham Norton Show and the storytelling spirit of Desert Island Discs.

Patterson first rose to prominence as a child entrepreneur and has since become a distinctive voice in theatre, performing sold‑out concerts in London and New York and appearing on BBC Americast with his viral parodies. Reflecting on the new show he said, “Like many, I often find myself death scrolling on TikTok looking through talk show clips in the early hours of the morning. I think a format like that dedicated to the extraordinary lives of musical theatre performers is long overdue. From onstage mishaps to career highlights, every actor has an abundance of personal stories that rarely get a chance in the spotlight: I can’t wait to sit down with Ian to hear him share his.”
