I Wish

I Wish

Meet the Wish Giver played by Jordan Laviniere, who journeys into a fairy-tale world of hopes, dreams and unintended consequence.

This fantastical and playful one-person show, filled with song, tells a new fable for our times – one of self-discovery, acceptance and joy.

I Wish is a co-creation between internationally acclaimed theatre-artist and singer Le Gateau Chocolat, the Unicorn’s Artistic Director Rachel Bagshaw and composer Seiriol Davies.  Featuring Jordan Laviniere in the role of the Wish Giver. Jordan replaces the original casting of Le Gateau Chocolat, who unfortunately had to withdraw from the show run due to ill health.

I Wish will now play at the Unicorn Theatre from 27 March to 21 April with a revised press opening on Wednesday 3 April (changed from 28 March) before touring to the New Victory Theater in New York (11 – 19 May) and HOME Manchester (25 May – 1 June).

Jordan’s credits include Kin The Musical (Theatro Technis); Wuthering Heights (UK Tour, National Theatre, US Tour); All That (Kings Head Theatre); Everybody’s Talking About Jamie (Apollo Theatre), Hairspray (UK tour), Rent (UK tour); Bugsy Malone (Lyric Theatre, London); The Life (The English Theatre-Frankfurt); We Will Rock You (European Tour); Thriller Live (UK&EU tour); The Lion King (Lyceum Theatre); Whistle Down The Wind (Aldwych).
