I Wish

Le Gateau Chocolat’s latest show for children, I Wish, will tour to London, Manchester and New York.

In many a fairy-story there are wishes granted and fairy-tale endings – but what if your wishes come true in surprising ways?

Meet the Wish Giver who journeys into a fairy-tale world of hopes, dreams and unintended consequences…

This fantastical, playful one-person show, filled with song, tells a new fable for our times – one of self-discovery, acceptance and joy.

I Wish is co-created and performed by internationally acclaimed theatre artist and singer Le Gateau Chocolat, with Unicorn Theatre’s Artistic Director Rachel Bagshaw (A Dead Body in Taos, Fuel; Augmented by Sophie Woolley, Told by an Idiot; Midnight Movie, Royal Court Theatre), and original music and lyrics by Seiriol Davies (Betty! A Sort of Musical, Royal Exchange Theatre; How to Win Against History, Young Vic; Branwen: Dadeni, Frân Wen).
