IN BED WITH MY BROTHER will return in 2026 with their smash‑hit production Philosophy of the World, playing a two‑week engagement at the new Yard Theatre this July before touring to venues and festivals across the UK.
The show, created and performed by Nora Alexander, Dora Lynn and Kat Cory, was a sell‑out sensation at Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2025 and has since won multiple accolades, including The Scotsman Fringe First Award 2025 and The Stage’s Fringe Five.
Inspired by the cult story of The Shaggs, the production turns the band’s unlikely rise into a three‑act biopic packed with chaotic invention. Beginning with a prophecy in Fremont, USA, the show traces how a determined father made his daughters’ supposed musical destiny come true.
Blending tribute, feminist reclamation and wild experimentation, Philosophy of the World dives into questions of power, fate, freewill and authorship. With The Shaggs’ 1969 album as its chaotic heartbeat, the show asks who holds the right to define your story.
The production promises mime, high‑energy choreography, questionable wigs, jump scares, cola cans, awkward audience interaction and a well‑trained actor. IN BED WITH MY BROTHER continue their signature mix of messiness and precision, twisting rock history into a sweaty, anarchic takedown of patriarchy and pop mythology.
Philosophy of the World will tour to Brighton Festival’s Caravan Assembly on 11 May, Bristol Old Vic from 13 to 16 May, New Wolsey Theatre on 23 May, SICK! Festival at Contact Theatre on 29 and 30 May, before heading to The Yard Theatre from 14 to 25 July. More dates are still to be announced.
