Award-winning West End performer Shanay Holmes has announced her debut solo concert, taking place at Cadogan Hall this summer.
The one-night-only event will be held on Saturday 11 July 2026 and marks Holmes’ first ever solo concert performance.
Accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, the concert will be conducted by Chris Poon and feature orchestral reimaginings of musical theatre classics alongside songs that have shaped Holmes’ career.
Holmes recently won the Black British Theatre Award for Best Female Lead Actor in a Musical for her performance as Nancy in Oliver!, a role she originated at Chichester Festival Theatre before reprising it in the West End at the Gielgud Theatre.
Her work has earned widespread critical acclaim, with Virgin Radio’s Chris Evans describing her Royal Variety performance of As Long As He Needs Me as “the best thing I have ever heard”.
Holmes’ stage credits span 15 years and include Miss Saigon, Get Up, Stand Up!, The Bridges of Madison County, Rent and The Bodyguard.
Speaking about the concert, Shanay Holmes said: “I pride myself on truly becoming the characters I play, but this concert is about being myself and stepping into who I am as an artist.”
The concert is described as the beginning of a new chapter in Holmes’ artistic journey, celebrating her career to date and what lies ahead.
